This vast wooded area extends to the western outskirts of the city. It is a place for walks, recreation and extreme sports (forest bike trails, paintball). There is also a newly renovated amphitheater, equipped with modern stage facilities, training and workshop rooms and studios. A winter attraction is the ski slope. It offers two trails equipped with infrastructure for both skiers and snowboarders. There is also a historical path through the Kumowa Valley. It is 0.5 kilometers long and leads to the monument to the victims of Nazi crimes. In the Kumowa Valley, during the occupation, the Germans executed more than 100 people. The main executions took place in July 1940.
